All right, I've been overdoing it with the political postings lately, so I'll mix it up for my next few. But, I read today that apparently Wesley Clark, who was NATO commander during Kosovo. I have an autographed copy of his book although I love him I didn't realize he was a Democrat. I don't think he has the political savey to necessarily be a good presidential candidate, but we could bloody well use some courageous leaders like him.

For the record, the reason I'm so enamored with Clark is that he was quite aggressive is carrying out the war in Kosovo, humanely (IMO) doing whatever it took to stop a genocide from occurring. That and democracy building are the way to get top marks from me.

Sounds good, but he doesn't have much experience in politics, would the Democrats nominate him? He might be popular (see Colin Powell) but as you said he's politically inexperienced. If he tried running for something more minor he could work his way up, though.

Quite right. He's not so young as to have time to start low, however unless he has raw political talent I'm unaware of he does need to go through the minor leagues first before we can call him up. But I'm rather pleased to know he's potentially there for the future. Hopefullly we could get back the presidency soon and have him as Sec. Defense or some such.
