Saw Die Another Day yesterday, I quite liked it, easily ranks in the better half of Bond flicks. Also the most interesting thing I've seen done with a Bond opening (both the plot and the musical sequence) as far as I can remember. I may even be up for seeing it again.

One minor spoiler note.
At one point in the movie there is a major military outpost just next to a heavily fortified border with a hostile nation. It is so close that should an attack cross the border, it would almost instantly overrun this facility.

Such a facility is a very bad place to put one's intelligence chiefs. Being close to the action is one thing, but this is stupid.

Gee, and I was planning to see it purely for Halle Berry and the company of the moviegoers! But then I got tired. ;)

Hmmmm... I dunno if I'd still go see it now, I'd rather see some other movies, like Two Towers, 8 Mile, or maybe an indy film. Hmmm. If you go again I might go. But I guess I'll just wait for it on video.

*thinks of finals week @_@*
