Fun with fiction
Surprisingly this is not a political post, and the subjects not in reference to Ari Fleischer's briefings or Michael Moore's rants.
Instead just mentioning that I've done my second fanfiction type thing of note. Technical term probably isn't fan fiction, as it's for an original series created by
ardweden that
capfox has written for several times before. For the record, it's here. Although it's probably a little late in the game to start reading it, and I don't think the latest part would make a lot of sense out of context. That my part is rather long to read just on a lark. But it's there if you want to see it. The part's actually been up for like a week now, but hey, if I didn't do things just cause I procrastinated to start, I'd hardly do anything at all. :P

SC in a nutshell
(Anonymous) 2003-03-25 11:50 am (UTC)(link)The heroes are three teenagers from Tokyo: two girls, Tsugiko and Yumi, and one boy, Kyouji. They got sent to a magical land called Mars, told that they are the reincarnations of legendary heroes, given superpowers and costumes, and told that they have to save the planet. The villainous Wintergreen is trying to conquer the world, and the heroes have to find the nine shards of the legendary Starburst Crystal to do it; to find the pieces, they are given a furry little animal guide named Kit Kat. Our heroes get into a love triangle, but after a long looooong time it got resolved (by Greg in an earlier part) with Kyouji getting together with Yumi. However, he's been halfhearted about the relationship, which is depressing her. Incidentally, Kyouji's routinely haunted by the ghost of his own former incarnation, Teru.
In the previous part, Kit Kat vanished, while the heroes were warned of a new dire threat, the embodiment of the anger of Mars itself. Meanwhile, Wintergreen's craziest henchperson, Twizzler, found herself haunted by the ghosts of her victims, but another ghost (SC's just full of 'em of late) gave her a spell to somehow resolve the problem. Oh, and Twizzler is in love with Kyouji.
And that's it. Three hundred thousand plus words boiled down to a couple hundred.
Now go read Greg's part.
