Local doings

Edward Hopper has a show at the National Gallery. He's the guy that did Nighthawks, the late-night dinner painting. Post write-up makes it sound pretty good.

In the Shadow is a documentary about the Apollo astronauts. Lots of original interviews and some previously unseen footage. Joel Achenbach, writing for the WPost, liked it.

Anyone near interested in either?

[Update! Air and Space also has an exhibit on the history of the gay rights movement. It'd be at American history, but that's closed for renovation.]

Sure, I'd love to do both. Also, don't forget the Chinese painting exhibit at the Freer Gallery.

Wow, that Apollo show sounds great. I'll mention it to M and see what she says.

Also: that is a very silly song title.
