I was a bit rushed in getting in this morning. Couldn't even find my wallet so I just grabbed some loose cash to buy a fare card. Get in to work and realize that while I did pack enough for lunch I didn't put in any sodas. So I go to the office soda machine and put one of my few singles in to buy a Diet Cherry Coke. And out comes a regular Coke. Argh!

You guys have a group fridge or something where you can have a communal soda supply? We've got one down in my main lab where people bring their own sodas and/or negotiate with the people who've brought them in. (Usually on the rare occasion when I want one and don't have my own supply, Rob will share his.)

We do and we don't. There's a communal fridge in the lounge, but it's used by way too many people to really stock sodas. I've considered bringing in a mini fridge, although I don't want to be an energy hog.

We keep most of the sodas outside of the fridge and usually whoever takes one puts the next one in. Or is the fridge crowded enough to prevent that sort of thing?
