Bill O'Reilly makes strawmen unnecessary.

From Media Matters

Most recently:
On the other side, you have people who hate America, and they hate it because it's run primarily by white, Christian men. Let me repeat that. America is run primarily by white, Christian men, and there is a segment of our population who hates that, despises that power structure. So they, under the guise of being compassionate, want to flood the country with foreign nationals, unlimited, unlimited, to change the complexion -- pardon the pun -- of America. Now, that's hatred, too.

And last year:
"[T]he bottom line is Charles Barron said last night is there is a movement in this country to wipe out 'white privilege' and to have the browning of America."

Hat tip: Feministing and Matt Yglesias.

I admit to being surprised that O'Reilly is this openly deranged. I thought you had to use code-words for this kind of sentiment on television.

Guess he's found out our evil plan to breed the true Master Race.

Bill O'Reilly was playing Stephen Colbert before the Daily Show became en vogue.

I'm just pissed because I'd really like to emigrate to America, but I'd have to go through about 5 years of extended administrative skullfuckery.

These Mexicans who break the law and ignore the sovereignty of America's borders...not so much.

It's pretty hard not to take that sort of thing as an insult of the highest order.

Well, they'll take more than five years to get actual citizenship under the law. The idea is to nominally have them at the back of the line.

But I do strongly support opening wider avenues of legal immigration. You shouldn't have to wait five years. Not even close.

Indeed. Plus there's the fees (which they jacked up lately just to add insult to injury) and the whole "one honest mistake on the many forms you're required to submit can get your ass deported if it gets noticed by a bureaucrat in a pissy mood" aspect.
