The views don't really get that close to the buildings I was in most, but I'm still pleased we made it. That's where I got my Master's

I really should invest in Google and Southwest at some point. But for now my savings are going to paying down student loans, as I don't think I can beat that rate of return.

Yeah, you're probably right about the rates.

Also, neat!

I'm curious as to why you would want to invest in Southwest. Their stock's been going down pretty consistently over the past year, and it's about where it was seven years ago.

It's a company I make a point of using because I like their business style. They're cheap, friendly, and reliable.

They are running into a bit of trouble because they're running out of lower-cost airports where they can expand to. So I'm not saying the stock decline was irrational. But I think they generally act with good sense, so after some consolidation I'm not too worried about the company.

Although I haven't ridden them quite as much lately, simply as a function of the places I've been going.

Speaking of planes, Elliot in the Morning had a guy from the Luray Zoo on today. In one of several (yes, that several) rants about mice & rats being bad, he said that they have been responsible for hundreds of planes failing because of eating through electrical wiring. So Monday's Snakes on a Plane conversation does have some merit.

Huh.

Any mention about how often zombies eat through the wiring? :P

Note that Luray Zoo guy was a bit... eccentric, and the character in SoaP that mentions it is the co-pilot, though not a person who could be called swift. So I have no problem with such a comment coming from a character playing the jackass cowboy archetype.

Also, what would you like me to send regarding the possibility of Saturday? Current plot situation and general details of the available characters?

True enough, seems in character. Yeah, plot situation, general details, estimated length sounds about right.
