I *knew* that. I was just shocked that stuff was actually on sale. Of course, that means it's still overpriced.
Zany Brainy bought FAO about a year or two back. Then they changed their name to FAO. Unfortunately, Wal-Mart is kicking their ass, so all the mergers in the world couldn't help them (they also own SmarterKids).
Toys 'R' Us is also in financial trouble, though not as dire. It's also becoming the new FAO, what with all the exclusives and displays and everything that FAO was supposed to be known for.
All I can say, is well, fuck. And I was hoping for a larger discount.
