Well, that's certainly one way to achieve a troop withdrawal.

Yeah, I don't think it would be an immediate withdrawal. but I do think active Karzai opposition could be the sort of thing that forces getting a status of forces agreement. I wonder whether he's more popular in Afghanistan at the moment than we are.
