New Verizon Smartphone: Should I get a Blackberry Storm, Tour, or something else?

Hey gadgeteers,

I've got my phone service through Verizon becaues they cover the metro. I now get the discount for getting a new phone and am trying to decide what sort of smart phone to go for. Blackberry Storm or Tour seem like the best options, they both have good net capability but the Storm has a touch screen and the Tour has a more traditional keypad. Touch screen seems cool to me, but I care most about having a solid platform.

Anyone have any advice? I'm willing to consider other phones that could work with Verizon.

[Update: Apparently there will be a Motorola Android phone coming out in September or so. Maybe I should hold out for that.]

If you want something now, probably the blackberry tour is better if it is the upgrade to pearl or bold like I think it is. I hear such mixed reviews about the storm - people love it or hate it. You'll have to try it out to see which it is for you.

Otherwise, probably one of the HTC or LG phones.
